It’s been quite a few days since you last saw me hasn’t it? My job is one of those that has a very specific busy season. And it doesn’t have a very gradual buildup either. It’s pretty steady with some major slow time and then suddenly, like a switch being pulled, WHAMMO!

Apparently, the switch got pulled last week. So I’ll be in super swamped work mode until about mid-November. Not that I will disappear completely, because I won’t, but just that I’ll be extremely irregular.

I do have an idea for a guest blog project I would very much like to host on here. The idea blossomed in my brain yesterday but I haven’t had time to really sit down and crunch it out. I’m actually going to start brainstorming on it now until I jump on a Google+ Hangout at noon to celebrate the September Crochet Along we are doing on there that kicks off today. But yes, Single Parents, be on the lookout. You will likely get an email from me in the next few days and I will also be posting details on the project on a future blog post here as well. But I want to make sure I have content lined up before I go making my announcement.

How have you guys been? I feel like maybe I’m not the only one who has  been whammo’ed recently. I see a lot of quieting down in blogs in general.

I need to do a bit of cleaning this weekend even though I’m very blegh about it. Did I mention I’m sick again? I don’t think I did, did I? Another one of those yucky things where my nose fills with green stuff and it oozes down my throat and makes me cough and feel gross. I’m trying to fight it again. Well, last night I didn’t. Last night I was a big baby about it and slept and slept and slept and whined when I was awake and slept and slept and slept some more.

But today I started with some Advil Cold & Sinus and now I’m about to snort some Afrin and I’m going to do this Hangout all gross and congested and then I’m going sailing with my Dad and Stallion hopefully.

Any plans for this weekend? It’s a long one!
